HTHR is a dedicated figure in Hungary's underground electronic music scene, a founding member and originator of HardTechno Hungary (HTH). His career is defined not by a chase for the spotlight, but by a deep respect for the genre, a commitment to community-building, and an uncompromising standard of quality at every event.

Roots and Inspiration

His musical awakening dates back to the years between 1998 and 2000, when he first became closely acquainted with techno and hardcore. In the years that followed, he showed up as an audience member and music enthusiast at countless renowned events both in Hungary and abroad, continuously absorbing the evolution of electronic music.

The turning point came in 2017, when he came into closer contact with hardtechno. What first drew him in wasn't even the music's relentless hardness, but the incomparable underground atmosphere, sense of freedom, and community cohesion that surrounds the style. From that point on, he sought out and attended events carrying that same spirit with clear purpose.

The Birth of HardTechno Hungary

The forced pause brought on by the global COVID-19 pandemic meant a standstill for many — but for HTHR, it meant action. That's when the decision was made: to launch an event series worthy of standing as a true continuation and heir to the once world-famous NGoHT (New Generation of Hard Techno) era in Hungary. Out of this vision grew HardTechno Hungary, which has remained one of the leading strongholds for fans of harder beats in Hungary ever since.

Self-Taught Precision and Sound

According to HTHR's philosophy, a quality event doesn't end with putting together the line-up. Since he often handled the sound and technical setup of HTH parties himself, mastering the intricacies of audio engineering and mixing to a professional level became essential. He continues to develop this knowledge to this day, entirely self-taught, to ensure the audience gets the best possible sound experience.

As a DJ and selector, he avoids clichés. By his own account, he isn't aiming to fit into any predefined box — instead, he's after a distinctive texture all his own. His sets are dominated by wide-ranging, powerful mid and low frequencies, broken up by unexpected, dynamic transitions and breaks that keep the dancefloor's energy constantly alive.

Present and Future

HTHR doesn't stand behind the decks for the sake of career ambitions or fame: his musical path and DJ sets are driven above all by delivering a high-quality, authentic experience at his own events and by respect for the audience. He doesn't plan far ahead and doesn't chase illusions — he creates in the present, serving as the driving force and resident of HardTechno Hungary, ensuring that Hungary's hardtechno community always finds a home at their events.
