Montek

Montek (Granollers, Barcelona, 1985) discovered electronic music at the age of 18, through the Catalan 'rave' movement.

His first influences came from the world of Drum'n'Bass, though he soon threw himself into the universe of Hardtechno and Schranz.

After acquiring his first equipment, he began thoroughly exploring the intricacies of mixing and production work, showing constant interest in every technical and creative detail. His dedication led him to join the Skizofrenik collective, where he shared experiences with defining artists such as Necrodur, Mario Biani, and Narkotic Dlux.

Over time, Montek turned toward a harder, more dynamic, and more personal Schranz sound. This style opened the doors of the Trauma collective (Madrid/Toledo) for him, and later of the 5 Minds Booking agency, with whom he worked together for a long period.

After three years of intense activity, he decided to focus on creating his own, distinctive sound.

His persistence and effort to develop a unique, characteristic sound soon caught the attention of international labels as well: his tracks were released on labels such as Jason Mask, The Devils Rejects, Badbrains, GNOT, Ifactor, Elementz Records, Double Sense Records, and many more.

Throughout his career, he has shared the booth with internationally renowned artists such as DJ Hammond, Acid Flux, Sandy Warez, Greg Notill, Frank Kvitta, Viper XXL, Waldhaus, Malke, Alex TB, Svetec, and many others.

His music has also taken him to prestigious stages and festivals, including:

• Darkness 7 Metroclub Slovakia
• Schranz Amigos Italy
• Hardstation Party Italy
• Hard Madness Slovenia
• Nature One | Criminal Camp Germany
• Sala Salamandra TKD Salamanca
• Frecuencias Prohibidas Palma de Mallorca
• Blau Club Girona
• La Cova Forest Club Barcelona
• Millenium Girona
• Sala Apache Valencia
• Mama Mandawa Barcelona
• Araña Club Barcelona
• Trauma Toledo | Madrid
• Lost Underground Girona

…and many other venues.

Today, Montek offers powerful sets full of energy, dynamism, and distinctive character, reflecting a solid career and an ongoing artistic pursuit. Every performance is a unique experience, where rhythm, intensity, and dynamism become the true protagonists.
